NO, he is a victim of no one but himself. His rank stupidity and arrogance to actually pay and run an ILLEGAL dogfighting ring on his own property is no one else's fault but his own. This cannot be blamed on racism, so don't bother to play that card. No one held a gun to his head and told him to execute dogs on his property, no one forced him to pay for the dogs to be trained to be ripped to shreds by other dogs. No one forced him to drown dogs because they did not want to fight. Gimme the world and people with common sense a break.
BTW white people get convicted for doing the same crap, it is just that no highly visible white person, i.e celebrity sports figure or otherwise, has been dumb enough and cruel enough to do something this heinous to a living creature AND GET CAUGHT. If they had, it would be covered 24/ 7

What those poor animals went through was not affected by the color of their owners. Being one of celebrity status makes Michael Vick a convenient news topic. While cruel and disgusting, dog fighting and other barbaric forms of entertainment have been around for centuries. He hasn't done any worse than others in that inhumane form of animal cruelty. He will pay a dear price and be crucified by the media for his actions. When will those that arranged 9/11 face even close to what Michael has already been through. He is not a victim of racism and only a true racist would try to connect his situation with such.

Michael Vick is a victim of his own rampant stupidity. Racism has nothing to so with it. He ran an illegal dog fighting farm, ring or whatever you want to call it. He has had his day in court and pled guilty to the charges, where is the racism in that?

Is that you Al Sharpton??? Did your friend Jesse Jackson put you up to this? Once again, let's play the race card instead of owning up to the fact that the man used absolutley no common sense and broke the law!!
Yes, the feds did go after him hard, just as they would Peyton Manning, or any other popular NFL player. The feds may be going after him harder than they would the average guy, but that is because putting joe schmoe in jail for dog fighting gets no attention, while putting an NFL player in jail for it gets
all kinds of things happening- including morons posting stupid questions linking it to racism.

No, he's a big name in this country, that's why it's such a media frenzy. If it were a white sport figure, it would be the same way, except the NAACP would be alongside PETA shouting for them to be incarcerated for life, just like in the Duke case. In Vicks case, the NAACP was on his side at first, but not anymore. He's not going to get anymore than 5 years in prison. That's all the charges carry with his guilty plea.

No he is the victim of his own rampant stupidity.
His position as a quarterback of a NFL team is what made it news not his race. If it had been Manning or Delhomme, or Griese or any other quarterback it would have been headline news. If he hadn't done the things he was accused of do you think he would plead guilty to the charges?
Trying to make this into a race issue is pathetic.

I dont think it has anything to do with his skin color. The man was involved in dog fighting. It does not matter what his skin color is its still wrong. And most likely his punishment will be minimal just because he is Michael Vick. And by the way I am black.

Yeah it's all whitey's fault.
Whitey made him play football
Whitey made him go to Virginia Tech
Whitey made him join the NFL
Whitey made him rent that house to his cousin and friend
Whitey made him become involved in dog fighting
yeah it's all whitey's fault.
Quit playing the race card. Michael Vick, not Vicks, is in trouble because of decisions that Michael Vick made, nobody made him do anything. But keep blaming the man if it makes you feel better.

If he were a white QB like Tony Romo, he'd be in just as much hot water. If he were Vick Michaels from the hood, he'd barely be a blip on the radar screen. In fact this would have been pleaded out already.
Robert Byrd old klan carcass blasting him on the Senate floor aside, what Mike Vick did was stupid and it will cost him about $100,000,000 in salary and endorements but he did it to himself. What ever happened to calling stupid decisions, stupid decisions? You can't spin stupid.

He's in the news because he had $130 million dollar contract with an NFL team.
He's in the news because he decided that making that kind of money was not enough for him.
He's in the news because he got a kick out of it.
He's in the news because he is suppose to be a role model.
He's not a victim. He's a greedy, sick SOB.
