Dan Aykroyd, Joh Belushi, Jane Curtain (that *****) and that i don't comprehend if he replaced into unique member yet Eddie Murphy replaced into so humorous, and so replaced into Garrett Morris The skits I enjoyed the suited have been Donnie & Marie getting it on kissing, Eddie Murphy as James Brown doing "heat bathtub", something the Blues Brother's did, Chevy Chase at clumsy Gerald Ford, the conheads (incredibly the daughter, Lorraine Newman), Gilda Radner as Rosanna Radannadanna

Bill Murray, Dan Acroyd, Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler and of course Will Farrell. I forgot the women! Gilda Radner and that crew. Also Molly Shannon, Ana Gastyer and others.

Eddie Murphy
He had such a wide range of characters, sometimes I wish someone could sit him down and show him his skits from SNL when he was truly funny. I think his success has quieted his desire for comedy a bit.
John Belushi is a very close second, taken too soon as can be the case with such an artist.

That is probably the most difficult question I've seen in a month. I could not name one. I could, however, name five. Here they are in no particular order:
Chris Farley
Tina Fey (her writing was superior, a fact made more evident after she left)
Will Ferrell
Eddie Murphy
Andy Samburg (you cannot beat D... in a Box)
That list looks so incomplete. I guess its because none of them are very funny by themselves... its the chemistry of the entire cast and the actors in each scene that create the humor. Not individuals.

I love Adam Sandler, but I didn't love his SNL stuff. Will Ferrell was good on and off the show.
Eddie Murphy is a classic.

Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell & Chris Farely are my all-time favorites. but from the current cast i'd have to say Andy Samburg.
