Yes, they were the original boat builders. They were called Ferrys at first, but the word has since been misspelled.

They do exist however only to those of the understanding of Energies and Fairies a flicker in the corner of your eye can be a Fairy it is there one minute and gone the next : )

There are different theories. Some people believe reall little people with wings exist, some don't.
One theory is a "real" fairy is more like a feeling that kinda brushes against you, like a breeze but there's no wind.
I guess it just depends what you want to believe :)

Yah I do believe in faeries, in two types actually. One would be your average couple inch tall woodland faeries. I have seen those for myself. They are normally harmless and like to mess around in your gardens. The other type would be the Fae, they are our size usually a little taller and are beautiful as sin. But they are not nice, they have few feelings and like to toy with people. Not everyone can see these fae and they mainly reside in Ireland, England, and Scotland. These I have not seen with my own two eyes but they do exist.
