I just discovered a really good band. They're not known in the US. They're a Finnish band called "Stratovarius". They have a very dynamic, powerful sounds that combines electric guitar, drums, piano, keyboards, and driving singer to make great music.
The song of theirs that made me look into them was called "Black Diamond", off of an '97 album of theirs. Check it out.
