hey everyone. Since I was a young kid my dream has been to become an actor. Due to my family's influence on me I've grown to be a hopeless guy focusing on other things like going to the army or becoming a police officer. However, my wish to become an actor/movie star has never left the back of my mind. Please tell me what I should do to begin. I know its not easy at all but I will never give up after I take the first step... I just don't know which step should be the first one.

Get involved. Go to your local performing arts centre and ask about drama classes, programs, or local theatre companies. It definitely helps to have some training. Keep an eye out for open auditions, for theatre and film. Have headshots done and put together a resumé. Contact any local agents.

me too. I always and still want to become and actor. (i basically asked the same question you did except im only 14) I dont think your too old at all too become an actor. not all actors start so young, ya know?! and they end up being great too! I hope you get to be an actor too!!
