i just need to find my ip address for my computer

Click the start Button → then select Run→ type in Command Prompt or CMD→ type IPCONFIG→this will display your IP address

open control panel, click network conncections, at the right where it has your options, look at the bottom of the column and see what it says your IP address is

For your computer... click start... select run
type cmd
press enter
type
ipconfig /all
press enter
to get the IP for your router, visit http://www.whatismyip.com

Windows, Start->Run then type ipconfig and press OK
Linux, goto a shell and type ifconfig and press enter
