It was reported that Harry Potter author JK Rowling is working on a detective novel. What do you think ? Will you read it?
I probably won't because its not my cup of tea.

J.K. Rowling is an awesome author so I'm eager to read another one of her works...
I'm sad Harry Potter had to end!!! *sniff*

She is definetely making an HP encycolpedia and she said she was working on a new boook for an audience yonger than HP's and there was a rumor about her writing a mystery book but it was debunked. I think she is taking a time off but she'll come back with another great story.

I'll check it out at the bookstore and decide if it looks worth reading, or just ask some friends in London for their opinion...if it isn't any better than Harry 7 was, the royal court of opinion will turn thumbs down!

She has great character driven plots. I suspect her detective stories will be better reads the HP (but probably not as famous).

I just heard this today from a friend. I may give it a looksey. My friend will probably get the book on tape, like she did with HP, so maybe I can wait and ask her what she thinks...

Absolutely. I love detective novels, and besides, if she wrote a grocery ad, I would probably read it.
