No, being in water won't stop your period. If you are there long enough you'll get wrinkly.

Your period has to run its course. If you don't like having your period I suggest you visit your doctor, he may be able to put you on something to make it less unpleasant and shorter.

At certain times of the month your hormones change and your period starts. The hormones change again and the period stops. Its regulated by chemical reactions in the body.

No your period does not stop in the water, it seems like it does sometimes because it dissolve kind of quick in the water. But thats why women wear tampons.

Well my mom and doctor said that being in water- especially cold makes your period lighter for a little while... 30 minutes to an hour. If you wanna go swimming while you have it just use a tampon

No, it doesn't stop, it just washes away - that's fine in the bath or shower (I've had big clots come out in the bath), but who wants to be swimming in water that has seomeone elses period blood in it?! Use tampons or stay out of the pool.

No, yet you is easily no longer waiting to verify it because of the fact it is going to likely be diluted interior the water. The chilly water would sluggish the bypass, yet theres no way it may magically stop your era. Your era is your lining of the uterus being set loose slowly, i do no longer see how chilly water might have any result, your physique has homeostasis, at the same time with temperature. do no longer hassle approximately it! have relaxing on the water park!!

IT DOES NOT STOP, it only LOOKS like it does.

Your mom is right, your period does not stop in water. It only gets dispersed into the water too quickly and only looks like it stops or slows.

It's true it doesn't stop completely, but it does slow it down a bit. Don't believe all those rumors about sharks smelling the blood and all that. They are just old wives tales. Many women swim when on their period. I think that's just a matter of personal comfort.

Not it doesn't stop you that is why you have to wear a tampon while swimming. Also if you ever take a bath while ragging then you will know it doesn't stop your period.
