Aww, how sweet! It's so nice of you to think of her! OK, here's the craft:
1. Buy colored tissue paper (orange and black are good colors for butterflies and older girls but for little girls, pink and purple should do the trick).
2. Cut the tissue paper into 1inch x 1 inch squares. Doesn't have to be so neat.
3. Get a small box (the size of your palm should be a good size).
4. Draw a BIG (this will make it easier to fill the box up), NEAT (who wants a sloppy butterfly on a craft?) butterfly on the front and back of the box. Make sure the butterfly takes up as much of the front and back as possible, but don't put too much design on it. Try to keep it simple or plain. This will make your result come out good and real.
5. Take two tissue paper squares of teh same color and crumble it up into a SMALL (looks better), HARD (so it doesn't uncrumble), ROUND, and NEAT ([ness] always counts!) ball.
5. Glue the colored balls onto the the design and the backround with glue. Press teh balls onto the box and make sure it stays. Let dry undisturbed for at least one hour.
6. Tah- da! And wish your sis a very happy birthday for me! You should fill the inside of the box with candy or flowers to make it extra special.

Can you do origami? The butterfly is one of the easiest ones to do. Do a web search for the instructions.
