Not every question is answered by every person who visits Yahoo Answers.
Unfortunately a lot of people see YA as a game and just try to accumulate points. Others genuinely try to help, by lending their knowledge to the community and benefit of others.
It is also a good means of communication, letting off steam, seeking spiritual or psychological help without losing anonymity.
YA won't always bless you with a thousand answers or stars... but sometimes, it only takes one.
YA is a good place to be.

many do not know the true gospel of Jesus Christ or can defend themselves with the bible, the answers i get on the street is that i have to check with my minister! Well if it goes against the churches belief you will remain in the darkness. Many that are here are looking for answers, if i can help just one person then IT has all been worth while.
