I removed the fan that cools the proccesor to see what kind of proccesor i had then i put it all back together and when i turn it on it continued to make a loud noise the whole time i was on it. so I think the problem is that when i took it apart I removed this gray chalk like stuff that was on top on my proccesor. can somebody tell me what that was and if it is the problem how can i fix it or buy this gray stuff? thanks.

The grey stuff is called "thermal paste/grease". Helps keep your processor stay cool. VERY important that you have it.

If it's noisy, it's obvious that your processor fan is running as fast as it can to keep your processor cool as there isn't any thermal grease on it.

Your processor is overheating and it is slowing down due to thermal throttling so as not to fry itself to death. Heat transfer from processor case to the base of the heatsink was substantially diminished when you removed the thermal paste.

STOP using your PC and immediately apply a VERY THIN coat of thermal paste. Clean the surfaces first. Even the silicone thermal grease in electronics shops would do. BUT Arctic Silver or Ceramique and Zalman STG1 would be best.

Huge mistake, Get it to a PC shop and let the pro's replace the compound and maybe a new fan. And the next time you want to know what you have click on the control panel then performance and maintenance then system and you will see exactly what you have

you are going to blow you're PC up if you continue to run it without thermal transfer compound between your processor and heat-sink.
switch off immediately and get some from the same place that sells replacement fans because that's the noise you can hear - a failing fan bearing - it looks like its running but it ain't running fast enough!

it variety of appears like there's a software working while the computing device boots up that's corrupt or has documents lacking. press the beginning up button. in RUN kind msconfig, press ok press the start up up tab. uncheck some courses which you do not want to load while the comp boots up(seek for the adserver one, yet ots in all likelihood not called that) (not system32 progs) reboot computing gadget
