Thnks Fr Th Mmrs-its about a guy who loved a girl who has now moved on and he wants to move on but cant. he is telling her off and repeating words that she has said. and is now having a one night stand...which he might have had with the girl in the first place.

Dance Dance-its about a couple whose relationship is falling apart and he doesnt want to feel this way...he feels that misery loves him!!!

Sugar, were going down-its about a guy who is trying to impress a girl that he likes but cant seem to do it right and the girl is with another guy whom he wants to be. she seems to think he is nothing and he is trying to make her think that is what he thinks about her too.

This Aint A Scene, Its An Arms Race-its talking about how the bands are arms dealers and they are dealing weapons to their fans and how the music scene isnt really a scene its an arms race(weapons race)

i dont know if any of that makes a lot of sense but i hope it does...if it doesnt and u want answers not in my own words and interpretations u could try:

Well, here goes...

"Thnks fr th Mmrs" is written like that because it's meant to symbolize a text message. From one person to their (now) ex. "I want these words to make things right, but it's the wrongs that make the words come to life", means that you can say a lot of things, but the actions are what matter. He wants to say things and make it better, but she DOES things and makes it worse. The girl told him "He tastes like you, only sweeter", meaning she gave some to some other guy. Harsh. So he texts her and says "Thnks fr th Mmrs", even though they weren't so great.

Dance, Dance is just about trainwreck relationships. "She says she's no good with words, but I'm worse", "This is the way they'd love if they knew how misery loved me". "Why don't you show me the little bit of spine you've been saving for his matress" is a play on words. It says "Why can't you show me the real you? The one that only comes out for the guy you have sex with?". "I only want sympathy in the form of you crawling into bed with me" is saying that he doesn't want any bullshit from her...but he'll take sex.

Sugar, We're Goin' Down has a bit of playing on words, too. "I'm just a notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song" say that "I'm just one guy you had sex with, but you're not even real. You're an imaginary person in this song I'm singing". In that respect, it's a play on words. "A loaded God-complex, cock it, and pull it" is saying that he's got a God-complex (huge ego) and he's ready to blow.

This Ain't A Scene is an interesting one. And it's not about sex for once. He says "I'm an arms dealer, fitting you with weapons in the form of words". Well, if words are weapons, and he deals them...what does that make him? A singer. "Don't care which side wins, long as the room keeps singing, he's selling those words and makin' that money. "This ain't a scene, it's an arms race". What is an arms race if words are weapons? A concert. This ain't a scene...it's a concert. "All the boys who the dance floor didn't love, and the girls whose lips couldn't move fast enough...sing until your lungs give out". Refering to the crowd, just sing along.

I hope I helped a bit. Fall Out Boy is my favorite band and I've had a bit of time to try and interpret these lyrics. I'd be here all night if I had to describe every lyric, so I hope this'll do. ♫
