What benefits have you reaped? What changes have you seen in your marriage? What changes have you seen in yourself and/or in your husband?

I feed my hubby. But I am a stay at home mom. It works well. Everything is still as good as when we got married and we have a newborn.

My husband and I properly care for each other.
It's a stereotype and a very sad thing that some men expect their wives to cook, clean, etc. and they don't have to do anything but work. Well, in this day and time, more often then not both work. So then how is it fair, that the wife works all day, comes home and cooks a full dinner, gets the laundry done, cleans the house, and takes care of the kids(if there are any) and anything else that has to be taken care of???

So benefits are (for me) we are both happy and very much in love with each other and don't resent one another for not helping out

Depends on what you define proper care and feeding. I didn't get married to reap benefits and do not keep a score card on which one of us has done more for the other. We don't anticipate caring for each other, it comes naturally with the love we share. What changes have I noticed in my marriage? None! We love each other and the only change would be that the love has stopped. And in my case it has not happened.

My husband and I take great care of each other. I love to cook for him and make sure he has clean clothes and everything. He shows me in more ways then one how appreciative he is. I have seen changes for the better since we have been married because it is not the same as when we were dating! Other then that I would not change a thing:)

i'm not quite sure what to say to this. you make it sound as though if i don't cook, my husband will somehow suffer as will my marriage. that's ludicrous. and what does caring for and cooking have to do with changes and benefits?provided a woman has decided to take on the roll or homemaker at the beginning of her marriage, how does this bring about change if she's done it all along? this really makes no sense.

Um....well when I'm not around to actually cook a meal he makes one for himself. I know it's crazy huh?

There are no benefits of you feeding your husband. You should be taking care of each other.

I do believe that I take good care of my husband. I seldom cook but when I do, I make sure that he likes it. I cook to impress him, I make sure the house is clean for both of our convenience. I am very affectionate to him and I let him know that he is appreciated, respected and loved. In return, I get the same treatment from him.

I haven't seen any changes, everything's as great as when it first started. We get along, and understand each other. I wouldn't change a thing.

I haven't seen any changes in the relationship. I have and will continue to do what I need to do to make sure his immediate needs are met. I am sure that he will continue to do the same for me.
