Fixing up an old Porsche912: vinyll dash is VERY dirty; what is the best way to clean it without damaging?

I have a '68 Porsche 912 Targa in my garage; the vinyll dash is in excellent condition but very dirty... does anyone know what I can use to clean the old dash without ruining it?

goop hand cleaner will do wonders for it, may have to clean it twice to get it all but you won't be disappointed .

Mechanics waterless hand cleaner, such as Gojo, which is available at any auto parts store. Rub it in real well then wipe it down with a clean cloth. Afterwards use Armorall to preserve it.
