No. My life began when I was born. It's what you make of your life that makes it "lively" or mundane. One is just merely waiting for the prime opportunity to make a major life change, but never for one's life, itself, to begin.

No.

Once I used to think that someday I would grow up and be an adult and I would understand everything and my life would begun. Once I did. But slowly over time, I came to understand that this is it. There is no place or time in the future when I'll step through a veil into the light and a voice from on hight says "Your life has just begun."

Life begun the day you're born. It's your's to build, or destroy. Life is a true gift from your mom and whomever you call God. What you do with this life is your gift back.

For those who answered "yes" to this question, I recommend you look for a way to find your life. In a scend from the film "The Sound of Music," Maria was told by the Mother Superior, "You got to look for your life." It took me about 20 years to understand what that means. I'll give you all the short cut: Read the book "The Secret" and watch the video. This is a first step, but a huge one. If you don't understand it the first time, read it again and again till it sinks in. If you're in your teens, this book will help you realize a great deal of success in whatever you choose to do your life.

Strive always to be happy in life, being careful to help others be happy too. Learn to love yourself and love others and everything you want will come to you, easily and freely.

I did until it did begin. Here is what awoke me to real human life. knowing that we are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can return to the eternal Kingdom where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. Now I know the process of how to live and be fully God conscious, living in the world but not of it offering all I do as a loving sacrifice to Krishna. It is so satisfying.

Oh yes !
All those who are full of expectations, are ever waiting for life to yet begin !
Whichever way we look at it ! We are far far away from 'life' lost in thoughts, entangled in dreams, expectations, when life is happening right here, all the time, each moment, so unique, so precious, never to be ever repeated in the history of this Universe !

I would say that I am waiting for my life to begin again.

For a decade, I have not been fully alive, but rather mourning the life I once knew. I have made various attempts to start living again (through creative writing, for example). But I'm not quite there yet. I'm still a work in progress.

Everyone's life continues while each of us wait for it to begin. Ironic, isn't it? Perhaps it would be wise to to examine the life I am (and you are) living and decide if that is the life each of us want to live. There is no waiting. There is only living; so we must live before we die.

no. some time in the recent past i forced it to begin. your life doesnt just happen. nobody else will walk up to you and make you take your piece of destiny, theyre either busy living their lives or are clueless and waiting around for somebody to push them to get a life. that leaves the responsibility of getting a life up to you
