15 to 18 driving nicely on road trips, half that in town if you have a heavy foot.
Thats what I got with my '67 Firebird with that same engine transmission combo.
Finding someone who can properly tune those old quadrajets carbs is not going to be easy but it can done.

I'd say 14 - 15 is optimistic. Those hogs were lucky to get 10 Miles per gallon and that was when they were running perfect and you didn't push them real hard. Back then gas was .25 cents a gallon so no one really cared.

Well my friend I will say this.... if it is tuned right then you should be able to get about 16 mpg out on the road. In town hope that you are not expecting much cause you would get about 10-12 in town. This is asuming that it is tuned right. If not tuned right then expect way less.

Highway i wouldent expect alot more then city because you mostlikely dont have over drive. I would say around 14-15mpg city, if you dont haul ***.
