Has Earthlink Accelerator ever worked for anyone else?

I got online in April of 07 and It still tells me that there is not enough data yet.For something that clames to speed you up 8 times faster ,do they have there accelerator on?

I tried Accelerator, saw no perceptible difference. I tried another ISP and the difference was breathtaking.
