Why are there so many adults that act like children?

I think some people never completely grow up.
My mom and I are both adults numerically, but as I get older and reflect on my upbringing, more and more I'm convinced she really had no idea how to raise a child.
I feel like maybe she missed out on something in her lifetime and a lack of maturity occasionally arises.
It's seriously bewildering at times, how much it can feel like she's the child and I'm the parent.

Because there's so many children who act like adults. We have to even things up a bit.

I grew up when I went living on my own. Adults today are the first people who could be really spoiled as children. And that leads to immaturity and not wanting to take responsibilities for themselves. Sad but true!

I try to keep the best parts of being a child alive inside me: laughing alot, smiling at people, being able to play, showing love without reservation.
There are always going to be mean, immature people though-- some people never "grow up" in the worst sense.

Because when we are kids, we're made to act like adults. Making up for lost time.

This has happened to me. The adult tooth was growing in too fast, so I had the baby tooth pulled. Later, when you are a little older, you might have to get braces to fix the crookedness of the adult tooth.

never if you want to stay forever young, you get wiser as you get older but there should always be a little kid inside all of us...... they say when you start to hate cartoons you know ur old!
but there is a difference between acting like a child and being in touch with ur inner child! i think men are more prone to acting like a child lol

They are attempting to revert back to when they were children and life was easy- no responsibilities and no bills. They fear growing up because they know they can not handle it. Or they were not breast fed enough or maybe too much when they were babies

Well,I have two pre-teens and frankly they kind of force it on me. I never had an adult ask me to get down on all fours and pretend to be a horse. If you want to blame someone,blame the kids.

i am offended by your question. i am an adult but a kid at heart. why would you want to be some boring old hag? just because you're grown up doesn't mean the fun has to end and you have to act all serious. sure, there are time when you have to act like an adult. but like i said, just because you're grown up doesn't mean the fun has to end.
