Rose (tough matchup for Horry)
Dr. J (chuck sais too many stipid things)
JO (underrated, not much attention until Laker rumors and brawl - bad combo)
Kukoc (bad matchup ((for Horry)) and Motumbo)
KG (inless part of the matchup was giving scouting reports on their opponent)
Starbury (was very quick, and a very good scorer; tough to beat Pippen's D, though)
Magic (better scorer)
Reggie (all he has to do is hope Peja shoots under 60% and he should be okay ((penetration)))
Gilbert (Sorry Pearl, I got Hibachi hear)
Parish (more of an offensive threat, but has to get past that furocious, excited, "hypervenalated" player that is Alonzo Mourning----> (http://youtube.com/watch?v=1nsTO9w9cH8) defensive threat)
from being at game 6, it was a little interesting watching Zo doing what he did there
anyhow, the situation makes me cry.....
.....unlike others, i like this question....not just one, but many 1 on1 matchups.

Robert Horry
Chuck Barkley -- Dr J. was a lot of flash
Rik Smitts
Toni Kukoc Dikembe was good, but just lacked 'something' to make him a true superstar.
Bill Walton (no contest)
Scottie Pippen (no contest)
Magic Johnson (again... no contest)
Reggie Miller vs Peja Stojakavic -- (tough call I don't thing Soji has left his prime, yet. )
Earl Monroe -- just barely
Alonzo Mourning -- Parrish never had Alonzo's speed.

Jalen-Irespect Horry but Jalen would beat him on speed and athletism.
Barkley-I also love Doc but he wouldnt be able to out muscle the round mound
Smits-Ihave to favor Smits but we really dont know what Oneal will do in his prime(somewhat unfair)
Kukoc-Mutombo was good but not that good
Garnett-Ithink Iwould wrather have Bill on my team though
Scottie-I dont know what to say-I dont even like Scottie
Magic-Kidd couldnt guard him-Magic would have a field day
Reggie-another unfair one Peja still young
Earl-Gilbert would have to be on FIRE
alonzo-again I would take Parish on my team though

The only one I really care about would be the match up between Charles Barkley and Dr. J. Charles would take him, simply because he was the god of rebounds, and Dr. J couldn't possibly make every shot. Pound for pound and inch for inch, Charles was one of the best the league has ever seen. Also, Where's Larry Bird?

Rose- too good in the post
Erving-too quick for Chuck
O'Neal- too athletic
Kukoc-just take Deke outside
KG-Walton was not a 1 on 1 type player
Pippen-height
Magic- I'd take him over any one on this list
Reggie- had more inside than Peja
The Pearl- just cuz he was my favorite player growing up
Zo- too quick for the Chief

KB vs MJ we could evaluate attributes 3 pt shooter. benefit Kobe (12 threes in one interest, NBA checklist) one million-0 mid selection shooting. Jordan one million-one million ball dealing with benefit Kobe (numerous TNT, NBA analysts agree in this) 2-one million height/attain benefit Kobe (Kobe 6-8 vs Jordan 6-6) 3-one million speed Tie 3-one million leaping benefit Jordan (extra dunk contest victories than Kobe) 3-2 grasp factor Tie (Jordan has 6 rings vs Kobe 3, yet Kobe is youthful, its arguably a tie) 3-2 actual power benefit Kobe 4-2 protection Jordan (extra BPG, extra SPG, occupation stats) 4-3 ft Tie, the two 80 3% occupation 4-3 Rebounding benefit Jordan (6 RPG vs 5 RPG Kobe) 4-4 organic Scoring skill benefit Kobe (80 one pt checklist in one interest, maximum 3s in a interest checklist, at in trouble-free terms 28, and one ought to assert Kobe hasn't reached his top yet) another classification i will think of of is a tie. That leaves with Kobe up via one million. All intangibles held equivalent, i might say Kobe might win. Kobe wins 5-4
