Real Christians have fun with it.

Ultra-uptight, holier-than-thou christians, condemn it.

Have fun!! I'm a real Christian and I love Halloween. Its not about worshipping the devil or anything. Its about the fall season, cider mills, carving pumpkins, dressing up and spending time with the kids at the pumpkin patch. Its about having fun and handing out candy and going trick or treating. Its about having a little fun being a little scared. So, as a real Christian, I have fun on Halloween, enjoying the nice weather and the beautiful season that God gave us. ♥

I don't know what other "real" Christians do, but I dress up and have fun with it. Always have. Even my church holds Halloween parties. It's an innocent holiday. It doesn't even mean what it used to anymore. It might be a pagan ritual...but mostly all it is is people dressing up, having fun, getting candy. Nothing wrong with it at all.

if you're a "real" christian, i don't think that celebrating a holiday that's as innocent as halloween will hurt your faith. all you do is hand out candy to little kids and have fun dressing up in costumes! It's not like halloween was created to worship the devil or something!

Personally, I do pass out trick or treat candy to the kids that do come around at that time. I usually stay at home on that night. So besides passing out candy I watch some favorite movies and just chill. I know it is considered a pagan night and since I do not have any pagan beliefs or practices I just do like I would any other night except for the part of passing out candy. For me it is like any other night of the year.

I agree with aladinwa, it really depends on your definition of a 'real' Christian. Personally most of them just relax and enjoy Trick-or-Treating like everyobody else. :)

But if you mean by the 'uptight, holier-than-though' type then don't bother asking them for candy on Halloween Night

we don't usually go trick-or-treating, but my daughter did last year just around our neighborhood. I don' t care for ppl wearing 'spooky' costumes, though. we do usually have a fall festival or a harvest fest with food, game booths, and a hay
ride.
