My lower stomach has been cramping a lot, it kind of hurts to breathe inward, and my v*g**al area has been hurting a little, like a sharp pain. I'm almost thirteen, could I be about to start my periods? There's been no blood, but the pain started last night and haven't changed.

I have told my mom and she knows whats going on- I told her that I didn't see any blood but shes going to give me a pad to keep in my purse for the future at school.

I am not sexually active, heavens! If I were and I was having this pain I would be terrified.
Anyway, I just wanted to see what y'all thought and be prepared if I am about to start my period. (yes, I do mean my first period)

Yes. Cramps are signs of ovulation, which means that your period could be on the way! :)

I assume you mean first periods, it could be that. I hope you are not sexually active, if so, you might need to tell a trusted adult who can get you medical advice, it could be something more serious. If not, then, it could be menstrul pain, try sretching and applying heat while laying on your back flat. Or try stretching on your tummy with or with out heating pad and see if that relieves some of your discomfort. If you don't feel well by tomorrow, please tell someone to take you to the doc, or tell your school nurse, they always know what to do and what you say is confidential. feel better soon.

Yes, it could mean that your period is about to start. Please let your mom know what is going on so that she can help you keep track of these symptoms to help you keep close track of when your period is coming.
