Oh thats right it was'nt a state he had a home in so I guess it does'nt count..It runs in the family,Florida also got aid before Katrina hit there..Well atleast he takes care of himself and his crooked family..By the way I am just sharing my opinion so please don't bother to waste your time leaving a nasty comment..

Bash him when he's late, and when he's early. He can't win.

Oh wait, this is why nothing ever gets done, because people complain no matter what happens. Bush gets yelled at for not acting fast enough, so now he starts authorizing aid before hand and now you accuse him of hating your home state. Not that it will matter,in case you didn't know it, money does you NO GOOD when your entire city is under water. what was that aid money going to do? pay the water to go away so rescuers could get to the victims? its easy to be angry, but the reality is New Orleans is in a bad place it was underwater for a week, you cannot help a city that is underwater, and to be fair the state had known for years that it had faulty pumps, that is your mayors fault, not the FEDERAL Governments. The city actually had busses they chose not to use to evacuate the poorer people that did not have cars, that is again not the Federal governments fault. they knew for a week that they city was going to get hit, nobody left, nobody did anything to prepare, and then the federal government gets blamed for it? Its terrible what happened, horrible in fact, but there isnt anything bush could have done to prevent it, or make it better, short of evacuating the city before hand, and that wasnt his call that was the mayors.

When you come into a place like this, asking a question like you did you should expect any sort of comment. And suggesting not to leave a nasty comment? Not a good thing to do. Anyways, he Katrina hit them, and hit them hard. They got aid. He learned then and there, next time be prepared. SO he sends aid early, and still gets bashed. Kinda messed up don't you think? Stop being so narrow minded and a bush hater. Simply because he did something you don't like, doesn't mean millions of others didnt like it.

The idiots dems incharge in those states didn't request aid. In fact, Gov. Blanco in LA refused even the red cross to set up their mobile hospital so long the red cross set up in mississippi instead. Don't even try to blame Bush for Katrina. If the Mayor of NO and their feminazi governor had done their jobs, 99% of the people would have been evacuated.

Katrina was unprecidented. No one had any idea it was going to be that bad.

He is providing aid in "Preparation" for the worst this time.

You should really get your Bush Derangement Sydrome under control. You only have a year and a half left and then you will have to find a new scapegoat.

Actually, I think New Orleans and Katrina has made Bush more sensitive to natural disasters, in general, and Hurricanes, in particular.

As much as I dislike Bush, I don't see much of anything nefarious in this.

Yep. I'm guessing the fact that Louisiana cast fewer votes for bush and the republican party had nothing to do with it.
Naah....

What about the local Democratic government? They did nothing and ran away! Why not get your facts straight? The feds ONLY come in AFTER the local government.

Oh, I wouldn't think of leaving a "nasty comment" as you put it. but, it is amazing that you can criticize someone else and it's your opinion but you don't want to have anyone criticize you. We'll you've read your Liberal Instruction Book well, my friend....Symbolism over Substance.

Now now I don't think that only has to do with his family. Afterall New Orleans is full of underprivilaged minorities. THAT is why they got no aid, not because they are not related. Or maybe in addition to the fact that are not related.
