An interesting thought but I'll tell you this. When Al-Qaeda gets the balls and starts committing these atrocities on US soil the liberals are the first ones they will go after. Liberals espouse everything extreme Muslims hate. After they thin out the liberals they'll look towards the Christians. Which I am one of, but never the less. The Mexican illegals will be there on the front lines since they too for the majority are Christian. Al-Qaeda will thin out both the liberals and the illegals, it all works out in the end.

As an Independent, I'm guessing that when the “War On Terror” moves from a political campaign slogan, to a real "war", even "Liberals" will take notice.

Apparently when you can't think of anything intelligent to say, demeaning, rude barbs and insults will suffice. This "war on terror" is taken seriously by most Americans, but most Americans also recognize that if they expect to remain a free society, that involves a modicum of risk.
No government can protect its citizens from every danger, and no government should be expected to; citizens need to take some responsibility for their own safety and security.
All this "war on terror" has done is allow the Bush administration to recoil basic American freedoms, yet - in the process - it has not made any of us any safer. While an arrogant, lazy, shiftless, cowardly, corrupt Republican-led Congress turned its back as George W. Bush violated our laws and our Constitution, the White House took away, or minimized, our basic rights and freedoms:
a) We can now expect the government to listen in on our phone conversations and read our e-mails without a warrant;
b) We can now be 'detained' in a federal prison without due process, without being represented by a lawyer, and being presumed guilty until proven innocent;
c) With Bush's railroading the overturn of the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, he can now declare martial law without even having to notify Congress or the people;
d) We can no longer protest within so many yards of a President's public speaking engagement, contrary to our right to express ourselves freely against our government.

Finally, an equally lazy, shiftless, cowardly and corrupt Democratic-led Congress, which promised to end this 'war' if elected, has sat back and done little to keep that promise. Such inaction only infringes on our basic rights and freedoms as individuals and citizens.

These kinds of things should ALSO be taken seriously, because if they aren't - it's only a matter of time until we one day wake up to find ourselves living in a totalitarian government where we have no choices, no rights and no freedoms. -RKO- 08/20/07

Predictably, another confused con who doesn't know what "terror" means. In case you haven't noticed, every time your precious Department of Homeland Security takes something else off the list of items you can fly with or taps another phone call of yours, the terrorists are doing a little dance. Simply by their existence, they are bringing our government to the point of WILLINGLY taking away the rights the terrorists don't want us to have! How long will it take for the right to understand that we are capitulating to their demands every time we add a security check or start to question the need for freedoms we used to take for granted?

Haha, terrorists will definitely have to start flying planes into their all boy bars and welfare offices first. Otherwise, they could care less because they hate America and so it doesn't really affect them.

Why do not you define your words--conflict? What conflict? conflict could be declared by skill of the U. S. Congress, no such element became declared. Your message isn't something better than the regularly happening baiting of people who oppose the so-called "conflict." You recommend that all and sundry and multiple who opposes this "conflict" is in some way not intense, not damaging to terror or not, ahem, patriotic. the regularly happening charge of the Cheney's, trees and Rumsfelds of the international--all at a similar time as they are for my area profiting on the so-called "conflict." despite the fact that my "liberal-ness" (which has in basic terms replace into obvious simply by fact the 1st election of the present boob-in-place of work) i'm particularly intense approximately terrorism. the authentic question is, is the boob-in-place of work intense approximately it? because actually, he and his government look to have forgotten approximately Bin weighted down, at a similar time as attacking Iraq which had no terror connections. actually, it quite is now such an risky place that Iraq is now a hotbed for terrorists--all simply by present boob-in-place of work. it quite is a breeding floor made fertile by skill of interior of sight hate for united statesa.. Why hate? simply by fact the U. S. destroyed and destabilized the placement. Oh confident, this conflict became going to pay for itself from the oil--do you notice Iraq paying us lower back for the debt we've incurred? i don't. So at a similar time as you question my seriousness with regard to the so-called "conflict" I question whether you will discover alongside with your guy or woman eyes and hear alongside with your guy or woman ears, for in case you should confirm and hear and did not subsist on the trype the White abode and Fox information feeds you, you too could be thinking what the hell is that this government doing and what's it doing approximately terrorism. For, you at the instant are not any safer from terrorists at present than you have been 5 years in the past and employing the Ronald Reagan try, in case you're no better off now, then its time for a transformation. you have a customary fake effect approximately your guy or woman freedoms and privateness-that's not the "strategies" of the terrorists that are eroding them, that's the "strategies" of people who purport to be responding to them. i take advantage of the word purport simply by fact, as I suggested earlier, attacking Iraq became not/isn't a counter-terrorist degree. It became in simple terms yet another invitation to a distinctive Viet Nam.

I'm not a person who exists under a "label".
There is no 'war on terror'. The "war on terror" was a term created by the Bush administration in order to fester fear amongst the population.
To hear Bush and hisk cronies tell it, the "war on terror" only began when Bush came into office. Therefore, it's his way of describing 911 and other attacks on US interests abroad.

In reality we don't really know who manufactured 911...
Except that is, those who were responsble.

perhaps the repubs should pay more attention to those amongst them who have problems with liking little boys....and visiting massage 'technicians'
