Be Happy! :)
It's the start of a new routine just like every other year
Get there early so that you can find your locker and classes.
The way my school worked is that they post student's last names on flyers all over the school with the room you will be assigned to, then from there you go to your regular classes.
Just have everything ready the night before, get there early and have fun catching up with friends!

Be excited, it's the first step into officially becoming a young adult! Teachers generally take it easy on freshmen if they're late for classes due to the fact that they aren't familiar with the building.

I won't tell you not to be nervous, because you will anyway. Just trust me on this, after the first week it will all be second nature to you. Just relax, breathe and know that all the other freshman are feeling the same as you.

First of all, don't bring any guns or if you do don't go nuts and well, you know, you want to get off on the right foot. Just smile, keep your mouth shut and act real nice to everyone. Be ultra-noncommittal until you get the lay of the land.

The tourist sees what he came to see, the traveler sees what is there. Don't be a tourist! Walk in without preconceived expectations and take it all in, and above all, don't be a spectator - at school, or in life - live it intentionally.
