aerobic exercise will help you lose weight faster than anaerobic exercise (like crunches, weight lifting)

aerobic exercise: walking, running, swimming, football, basketball, soccer, hockey, tennis, volleyball, baking, roller bladding, etc...

I do both, like when I walk on the treadmill at a slow speed (3-3.5 miles per hour), I also carry one pound dumbbells. So I work my biceps and triceps along with my leg muscles. Then I put the weights down, and run at 7-8 miles per hour for a minute or two. So I incorporate interval training with aerobic and anaerobic exercise. After 30 minutes, I stretch and sometimes do yoga to finish it off.

My weight ballooned after 2 kids and exercises didnt help much. You need to reprogram your body and make your metabolism work harder. DETOX. Try the program made by personal trainers at HFF - http://www.healthyfitfinancial.com
I lost 20 lbs in the month and its stayed off - not many programs will do that. Goodluck ok?
