That you all shoot people on the freeways if they make you mad and that , at least, every other person is gay...not just quiet gay but BIG AND BRIGHTLY COLORED AND VERY IN YOUR FACE........ . GAY!!!
That's how ppl 'round here see them Californians.
See, that's the advantage of living in such an open minded place. Really!

I've lived in Ohio all my life but spent a year in Longbeach once . I found the people of California very much more forward and a bit on the wild side compared to what I was used too . I met many people and nearly all were pretty friendly perhaps more so than where I live . I enjoyed it quite a bit and had some of the best times of my life the year I spent there . I made it up and down the coast from L.A. to about 25 miles south of San Diego while there .

Oh gosh, no. Floridas not like California at all. California is much more open and tolerant about people. Honestly, I've lived in florida my entire life, and it's one of the most racist, discriminative places ever. Florida is like California's unsuccessful, broke younger brother who failed high school (if that's not too colorful of a description) it's a suckier, more brutal version of the golden coast. floridians attitudes are not at all like the ideal californian person

I live in Ohio and if you haven't been to California then your not one of the cool people lol. That's all you hear here I'm going to California because that's where it's at. I actually sold my house and got plane tickets with my kids and moved there for 2 years just to see what the big dream was! I had never seen such beautiful palm trees and beaches until I moved there. Oh, are my memories drifting off again.....

I lived in California for a few years, and it seemed that everyone was always in a hurry to get somewhere. 4 to 5 cars in every family. But what I did like about California is the sunny beaches and the people are friendly and kind.

California is my home state - Hadn't been back in years. When I think of California I think of the Beach (Hunnington). I have family out there as well as visit a in Oakland 10+ years ago. Navel bases and giant ships. Seems fast pace for me... yes, a bit wild, but mostly are friendly and just full of sunshine smiles.

Beach Bums and Surfer Dudes come to mind. And celebrities because of Hollywood, of course. Let's see, what else comes to mind when I hear of the state of California? Hmmm... oh yeah, the medicinal marijuana or whatever you want to call it in order to make it legal. Mudslides (natural disasters, not the drink) and way too many people... I would lose my mind around that many people, Californians or not. And I have never met anyone from there, so I can't say anything about their personas.

I live in California North (Oregon) and lots of the people migrating here are rude but I have been to California enough times to know that you aren't all that way.

My cousin brought a couple friends home to Indiana she lives at Redondo Beach and they are rude anti hunting with opinions out of this world saying how Indiana ppl are so back woods.
They said where is the culture here! They would laugh and tell me how real trend setters live in as they said Cali!
It is ok though got to love my cousin but I did say to her that remember you grew up in Indiana too!!

When I think of California I think of it being full of perfect blonde women skating around in hotpants. The sun is always out shining and there are all these perfect looking blokes going surfing. Not really sure what 'perfect' is, but you know what I mean!! And then in the evening it's probably a party state and it probably has loads of really rich people. I think I used to watch too much Sweet Valley High.... (quick, hide!!)
