Clinton had a much better grasp of how to operate in global politics. He was also determined to reduce the national debt. Bush couldn't care less about that.

Ok, my theory isnt going to make anybody happy, but look at it in the past, and you'll see its true. The best possible situation for our country is to have a president from one party, and the majority in congress from another party. In this situation, the country always flourishes, because, both groups are put in check, and fewer laws are passed, only the most necesary laws get through, thus making it impossible for either party to get their crazy ideas through, and only well thought out laws, and policies improved by compromise are allowed through. Even still, Clinton basically rode the good economy that Bush senior created.

That's a somewhat baseless opinion. Both have their ups and downs. There are things Clinton could/should have done that would have made things easier today. There are things the Bush administration could/should do different. Either way it's really just a matter of your personal belief. If Clinton was brighter then Bush...then why did he get caught with his pants down? HMMMMMMM.....

what exactly did he do that was so much better? He lead our economy into a recession that Bush brought us out of. He raised our taxes. ignored the terror through. refused to take care of Osama Bin Laden when he was handed to him on a silver platter. He decimated our military and made our nation a laughing stock.
The only thing he managed to accomplish was when the Republican Congressed forced Welfare reform and a balanced budget. That would have happened regardless the President.

Clinton Ignored the security problem he had. The Clinton administration was described by the media as being the poorest foreign policy president in 100 years. We seemed to have no problems because in those years the country had their head in the sand and ignored the middle east. Which was rearing up to pound us. Notice how early in Bushe's administration 9/11/01 happened how could this have been his fault. Had Clinton delt with Alcada 9/11 would not have happened.

Not brighter, just not as good at lying. If his mother had been Barbara Bush, Clinton would have been a much better liar.
Of course, Clinton was more Republican than many Republicans and was not in office when the little jobs finally disappeared from the economy and the large corporations finally realized that Congress and the US Supreme Court were not going to stop them from controlling everything.

Clinton didn't do anything but preside over what was already built before he took office. You or I could have presided as president in the '90's and bragged about the longest economic expansion in history.
Credit really goes to Reagan, despite his flaws as being an idiot during the AIDS crisis.

What did he do? congress forced him to balance the budget, he destroyed the military, he bombed an aspirin factory. I guess the message you are sending is that it is okay for terrorist to target Americans and all terrorist should expect from our president is a frown and a tough talking to. It would have saved us a lot of money and the president would have been a hero, if I am reading you correctly.

Clinton was looking for a legacy and that kept him from doing anything 'unpopular'. Bush is trying to do big things and his legacy may suffer for it.

Im sorry, but Clintons presidency didnt include 9-11.
You are basing your question off of opinion, and thats fine, but just try and picture yourself being a president in this country. I know I would fail miserably. As would you most likely too. It takes alot of balls to run a country.
