i want to travel from fort lauderdale to grand bahama island on either on a jet ski or a small boat that cost 2k at the max which do one is better to do it with

YOU MUST HAVE A DEATH WISH. THE OCEAN IS NO PLACE TO PLAY AROUND. A SMALL CRAFT ON THE OCEAN IS SUICIDE. A SMALL BOAT FOR 2 GRAND PROBABLY WOULD NOT RUN FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOU WOULD HAVE TO REPAIR IT. TAKE A CRUISE SHIP FOR $199 FROM LAUDERDALE AND GET THERE SAFE. GOOD LUCK. REMEMBER THERE ARE SHARKS IN THE WATER.

There is a lot of yacht brokers in Ft. Lauderdale who doing charters too. a jetski thats worth 2k isnt nearly reliable enough to go out in any ocean on. u should have a nearly new jetski. or if u do get a cheap one, get used to it first and make sure its working properly first, like a bunch of sea trials.

i think fuel might be an issue on the ski. just pick a good day weather-wise and hit it. it's a great ride.
