The study of the environment of other subjects is elsewhere included in the category of their study because of the effects of the environment. Likewise, the study of the near and far solar system objects associated with the Earth should indeed be included as a part of the Earth Science category because the Earth is considerably effected by them. The gravitational pulls, radiations and impacts coming from that environment are those effects. Why should the major cause of energy and the key ingredient of photosynthesis, the causes of weather and tides, and the past and potential collision catastrophes be rejected from the study category of Earth Science ?
Actually , they are not, at least not in the Earth Science textbooks.
I find some of the reasoning a bit duplicitous in that the astronomers and cosmologists study the stars " to find out more about our origins" , but then our supposed origins are not really an Earth Science ? Please.

nicely, for starters, it would help in case you probably did no longer concentration strictly upon the damaging. i'm undecided why you experience insignificant and pointless while that is this variety of superb element which you're right here, made up of aspects forged interior the cores of demise stars? And, on superb of that, you're sapient. Do you comprehend what an prolonged, clawing warfare it become for evolutionary procedures to offer that? Hell, do you comprehend how outstanding it is, in spite of in case you're taking all of that with no attention, which you have been even born? think of for a 2d; if a diverse sperm had fertilized the egg throughout the time of the 2d of concept, you does no longer be right here. you need to experience tiny; while confronted with this actuality, i've got faith like a substantial who stepped out of a supernova. i seem up on the Milky way at night, and that i comprehend, "i'm you."
