Think about it - I can't really remember a time when so many natural disasters have occurred, within the same period. Take that, all the conflicts throughout the world - and it seems the lid isn't too far from shooting off. Never mind global warming - or maybe do - it's like the world senses the strife of our age, and possibly the climax of our global epoch would be some kind of catastrophe. Is any of this possible to any of you? Often I think about the movies and games where a character saves the world and no one ever knows - but him, and his superior intelligence officers. How many times has the world been saved in the past few years, few months; and is the world OK?

I don't think the world is OK. I think annihaltion is coming either by the big bomb or by global warming. The earth will burn up either way. I don't see how we can go on much longer. I'm watching for Jesus to come back.

The world has been worse off lots of times. For instance, during the previous ice age, during the plague epidemics, during the dust bowl, during World Wars I and II. During the Middle Ages.

You are only looking at the negatives, we have so many positives. There is unprecedented medical care available for so many things we couldn't cure even fifty years ago. We can communicate with each other on a level undreamed of in the childhoods of people still alive today.

Does the world have problems? Sure. It always has and it probably always will. It also has wonders. You just have to look for them.
