Yeah, so disappointing. what's sooo disappointing is that a guy with limitless ingredients could opt to spend them torturing and killing defenseless animals. I had was hoping he could do the utmost sentence allowed for the fees against him, yet he probable won't do a million/2. What I additionally locate disappointing is that human beings have been so incredulous while the allegation first got here out. Dogfighting is a lot greater universal than human beings could opt to think of, and it is not merely inner city youths, it incredibly is bankers, and legal experts, and rappers, and professional basketball gamers. Snoop canines himself sells Pitts bred incredibly for scuffling with and those canines sell fro hundreds. Its great money, dogfighting. And it incredibly is a merciless and barbaric pastime. Michael Vick is merely one in each of various, and it incredibly is too undesirable the punishment won't greater healthy the crime.

I'm glad he is pleading guilty and this nonsense will disappear. The sentence will probably be lighter, and that's OK. What's worse for him is if the NFL decides a felony conviction bars him from the NFL. I'd like to see him allowed to continue in the NFL after his sentence, but I'd also like to see a high percentage of all his earning for some number of years be routed to animal shelters (not PETA) or some other worthy cause. I'd even go for no jail time with lots of community service at animal shelters, with a majority of his salary taken.

I'm not disappointed that he's pleading guilty. But I'll be disappointed when they give him a light sentence.

EDIT: Regarding the petakillsanimals.com website (since someone posted it)- That site (and all the others maintained by Richard Berman, Executive Director of the Center for Consumer Freedom, are just as biased against PETA as the PETA websites are biased in favor of PETA. The CCF and the animal industries have each other in their back pockets, so they are definitely not going to offer unbiased opinions. Visiting the petakillsanimals.com website (or any of the other sites maintained by the CCF) will leave you as empty handed as if you visit PETA's websites. You'll find sites littered with biased information posted by people who are simply trying to sway you in one direction or another. (And yes, I am an animal rights activist. But I do NOT support PETA in everything they say and do, including their stance on pet euthanasia.)

Disappointing why? Because he really did commit the crime? Because he was supposed to be a role model but revealed himself as cruel and greedy? Because he's plea-bargaining for reduced sentence, and won't get the full punishment he deserves? Frankly I wouldn't have offered him a deal - the evidence against him was heavy enough to send him to jail and make him pay for his crimes.

Hopefully this wouldn't lessen his sentence he need to be punished just as anyone else would be. Some sheleters have been receiving his jersey to use as rags to clean up after dogs, use as bedding etc. service him right.

Yes, he is very disappointing. He makes millions a year and he can't abide by the law...and he's a black man. Very disappointing.

He should have gotten Peta's lawyer, he got them off when they killed dogs:

(Just to be clear, I think both Vick and Peta deserve to be punished for what they did.)
