I am sick to death of reading some answers on this site to womans questions on m/c.

I am very sorry for your loss. You were obviously advised on what you can and can't do after a m/c and there is NOTHING wrong with having sex 3 weeks after a d&c - do not be told otherwise.

As for being pregnant, a d&c is like a period in a way, and ovulation usually happens 2 weeks later followed by a period 4 weeks after the d&c (this is NOT 100% but appears to be the case quite often and was with me). So you could very well be pregnant if you ovulated around the middle of August when you had sex.

I fell pregnant the first cycle after my d&c and am now 20 weeks along, baby is okay. No one needs to tell you not to get pregnant yet or not to have sex yet. If you choose to do so, and if you feel okay to start trying to get pregnant again, then go for it. If your period hasn't returned by the end of August, early September, visit your doctor for a test just so you know.

Best of luck.

It's possible. The bloody stuff could have been implantation bleeding. You should wait a week or two and go in to the doc. for a blood test to see what your HCG quant is that is better then a pee test.
