Wow, that's an open ended questions! It depends on what is broken, and what type of oven you have. There are some repairs you can do yourself, but you should definitely consider hiring a professional if you feel even slightly unsure about your abilities. Especially if you have a gas oven.

what kind, if its gas see if the pilot light is lit, if elect the element may be bad, usually you can replace an elect oven element.
