i have this idea of making a fast food chain that would rival star bucks, i have received positive feedback from everyone i know, they said i should really go for it. but i dont know how to start.

do i need to loan money or something?
do i have to rent space?

Actually you only need the business plan if you're going to be asking for loans. You really should work for a chain first and learn how it's done and what kind of city permits you have to get before building or renting.
