Personally I would never name my child Jellybean. It would be a cute nickname but not as a actual name. Tell your friend to think about it. That kid is going to have to live with that name forever, and remember other kids are mean. can you imagine how much the kid is going to be teased with Jellybean as a middle name. Also what about when they graduate from high school or college. And it is going to go on diplomas. The name might be cute for a little kid but what about when she is 30, 40, or 50. OMG can you image the wedding, lovely ceremony and then it said do you "Alyssa Jellybean ______"
Please tell her no not a good idea

I've heard of nicknaming your child jellybean (especially during pregnancy, but usually sticks afterwards) (personally, I used Peanut), but never heard someone really use it for a name. I like her two first names she picked, especially Alyssa, but not so sure about the middle name of Jellybean. I personally think that should could get mocked for it, especially in school. I would suggest you come up a list of those two first names with different middle names for your friend, and tell her you love the name Jellybean, but it's more of a nickname, and you would hate to see her daughter get teased for it. Tread lightly seeing as your friend likes it. Good luck.

I think it's funny as a middle name.
Although Mercedes Jellybean...c'mon now...you have to spread the weirdness around.
:) I think that's sort of cute though.

EXTREAM, tell her to name them Alyssa May or Mercedes Lynn or Mersedes Samantha but no Jellybean for a middle name, put it this way if a kid at school asks what is your middle name and they say jellybean, They are going to be teased forever.

If anyone ever named me jellybean, i would legally change my name. As a nickname, it's adorable, but come on...don't you remember how mean kids can be? I wouldn't want to live with that!

NO...please think of this childs future...remember they are eventually gonna have to fill out job applications one day unless they have millions in inheritance. That is a cute name for a pet though.
