Well not me with both of my pregnancies they said I was having a boy and I even seen their little thingies and they both were boys,Now for my sister the doctor said she was having a girl they had her named pick out and at her baby shower everyone bought pink girl stuff and then when she gave birth it was a boy not a girl and the doctor told her he must of been sitting on it.Now my friend had an ultra sound when she was like 13 weeks and they told her it was a girl and they even had her name pick out and now she is like 5 months and had another ultra sound done and on the screen she seen his little thingy and she told the tech. that's not a girl and he said no I'm guessing that's what they told you with the first ultra sound, but I think 13 weeks is a little to early to tell the sex of your baby you need to be at least 16weeks or so.It's a good thing she had that second ultra sound done before she had her baby shower and everyone bought her girl stuff, and she would of been really surprised if all this time she thought she was having a girl and out came a boy like my sister did.

Well, when I was pregnant I always thought, from day 1, that I was having a girl and it was a girl. Mine was a surprise so I never found out what I was having before hand. My sister, though, is preggo's right now and she has 2 boys. She was told that she was going to have all boys, too. This ultrasound say it was a girl which my sister still can't believe so I can tell you for sure when my sister has her baby on Sept. 24 (scheduled C-section) if she actually had a girl or not.

my mum was a midwife in England ( now live in Australia) and she came across this all the time. she delivered a baby for a lady who had 4 boys and was pregnant again trying for a girl. The ultrasound told her she was having a girl , so was so excited and bought all these girls things, when the baby was born it was another Boy !! I think it may be easier to make a mistake if you been told its a girl as their 'bits' can be swollen early on . Either way what you get is a blessing. I would go by your ultrasound not your husbands instincts lol .
Good luck

my ob told me that she was supposed to deliver 5 girls one day and only ended up delivering 3 girls and 2 boys. She said it is more common to have found out that it was a girl and have a boy than the other way around. However, there is always a possibility.
Good luck to you.
Also my intuition thought I was going to have a girl, but the ultrasound said boy, and it was a boy.

Supposeidly I was a boy in a 15 week ultrasound! It could be wrong! I suggest getting a 4d ultrasound, those usually clear things up =]

im 34 wks and this is also my fear. i have all this pink stuff and have my heart set on having a baby girl n a couple wks and for a while now i have been wonderin if the tech got the sex right. my friend's cuzin was supposed to have a girl but gave birth to a boy. it sucks that instances like that r not uncommon. i just try not to worry. id have a hell of a time returning all this stuff but i will love my baby just the same regardless of sex...

I work with someone who was told they were having a girl, and found out 4 weeks before she was due that it was a boy. The doctor told my mom I was a boy, (of course tech. wasn't as good then) and I was definitely a girl.
