With no graphics card, and only 128MB ram, you're lucky to be running XP. XP should have at least 256MB, and Vista, even on 512mb ram would be slow.

I recommend getting a new computer. The 6gb harddrive in there, would run no programs, with Vista on there, as the capacity would be crushed.

I recommend waiting awhile before getting Vista, if you're happy with your computing experience. Vista's a big change, and really, one that some shouldn't take yet.

Best of luck!

Your system doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

Consider this:

The first time I downloaded it, it was 2.4GB. After I installed it, it came back with almost another gigabyte of updates.

By the time you install your applications, you'll be running out of disk space.

Your RAM comes up short even if you upgrade to 256MB.

600MHZ on your processor will only bore Vista.

I'd wait until you get ready to go with a new system.

If it even installs...it will run painfully SLOOOOW. My recommendation is to just get a bigger hard drive, vista by itself is a couple of GB's. And it needs atleast 512 of RAM. Look at houw much it's going to cost you to upgrade, and how much it would be to just get a new computer, then decide.

good luck...

with the costs you are looking at to upgrade, it might be better to just buy a new computer.

most new computers come with vista anyways...

also, dell will give you free interest on an xp computer for 18 months if you qualify...

NO! You dont have enough hardrive room, or ram, or anything to run Vista. Keep what you have until you get a newer pc.
