I've read that Abraham Lincoln had a relative who was an ambassador to the Court of St. James. The claim is made on various documents that claim similarities between Lincoln and JFK. If this claim is accurate, who was this relative of Lincoln?

Robert Todd Lincoln (Abraham Lincoln's son) served as Minister to the Court of St. James circa 1890. Americans would not use the title Ambassador until 1893. The title of "Minister" was just below Ambassador
