will a XFX 8800 GTS fit on this motherboard?

SURE it will fit that x16 PCIe slot but it will also cover the space of PCI 1 slot. Just make sure you have a power supply that has strong +12V rail. It draws about 11 amps on that rail. A 500W power supply with dual +12V rail would be enough.

It will fit, but not without the sacrifice of two of your PCI slots just because the card is that big. Hope this helps.
