Does anyone know what happened to the TV series Wings that was supposedly a spin off of cheers and set on Nantucket Island. Do you know if it came out on DVD, if so can you purchase it in the UK?

Wings is available onf DVD - seasons 1-4, at least in the USA. Perhaps you could order from Amazon or Amazon UK.
I liked this sitcom - it ran on NBC from April 19, 1990 to May 14, 1997.
Wings was created and produced by David Angell, Peter Casey and David Lee who were also producer/writers on Cheers and later went on to create Frasier. Characters from Cheers occasionally made guest appearances on Wings. Don't know that it was necessarily a spin-off.

The spin-off of cheers is actually Frasier. The same guy that plays Frasier does the voice of sideshow bob from The Simpsons.

The show ran for several seasons and was cancelled. It is out on DVD. Amazon.com was taking orders in early August for the complete fifth season. I can't find out if it is available in the UK, sorry. Good luck!
