Just remember that dog whistles don't always repel dogs. There have been cases where the blowing of a dog whistle has caused the dog to attack!

Yes. I used to live down the road from these people who kept a chained up poodle in their yard. I walked past their house everyday and everyday the stupid dog barked at me. I was in a foul mood one day and barked back (rather viciously). For a while after that it would run and hide behind the bushes when it saw me coming.

Sure! Then when your phone rings, you can sing "Who Let The Dogs Out" and have the barking taken care of by them!

If you have wilted down to a simple competition between you and a canine... best to look further than the next street lamp.

Brilliance... Pure brilliance... Cna I take this to the next step and create a sound file with hight frequency pink noise to pi$$ the dog off. It should be inaudible to us... But make the dogs freak!
Oh... What a great idea... Thanks man!!!

My ring tone is a woman having an orgasm .. since the phone always rings during sex, I figure I might as well make it something topical.

Why not if you can't bark like your neighbour's dogs , you should install and be compatible to them.
