Mines a woman. I get a little weirded out thinking of having one that is the opposite sex.

No, mine is a woman, but I usually just see the Dr. that I work with most of the time. I probably have seen him more for health problems than I have her. He is always professional and is probably one of the best drs in the city if not the best.
He is extremely knowledgable on a vast array of weird illnesses. In fact, I often refer to him as "House".

I have a woman as my primary care doctor. But it was just luck of the draw. I didn't request a woman. Though I did request a female gyno.

I have a man for a GYNO. He's great. I don't think it matters as long as they are doing there job. Plus at my Doc if you do have the opposite sex doc there's a nurse of the same sex in there for safety!

Yes- he's been my general/primary care physician since I was a kid. He also delivered my daughter, so it's multi-generational now. He's fantastic- Mr. Mellow but straight to the point.

Mine is the opposite gender. That doesn't bother me but we have a language barrier that gets in the way sometimes.

Yeah. It's no big deal! Just a regular doctor. Now, I couldn't have a GYNO that is a man. No way jose. I already get weirded out too much with someone unfamiliar all up my cooch. haha

Funny, you asked this question. I had a male (same as me) primary care doctor who got sick during my scheduled physical, and guess who took over his duties - a female doctor. She gave one of the most thorough physicals I've ever had including, u know, examining down there and back there.

He's a really nice, older, hispanic man.

The only time I insist on a female dr. is when it involves a speculum (the thing the stick in your female parts to examine you).
