Open IE...go to Tools...IE options....delete. If you really want to hide things...you also need to do the following. Go To Your Windows Explorer. Open your C Drive. Make certain you may view hidden folders. Then following this link. (Replace with your folder name) Most pictures that you have looked at are here.

C:\Documents and Settings\<>\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.0\file

Select all of them and delete.

Tools > Internet Options > Delete Browsing History and choose what you wish to delete.

If your using Firefox just go to Tools and click "Clear Private Data". If your not using Firefox I recommend getting it (you can even set it up so it clears the cache every time you close the browser!).

If your really concerned about privacy, there are still traces of your online activity stored in the registry and "index.dat" files that cannot be removed from within your browser. CCleaner will remove these "index.dat" files making future recovery very difficult. CCleaner is free and removes all traces of your online activities (highly recommended).

If you use Internet Explorer... it's under Tools>Internet options. Under "temporary internet files" there is a button for deleting cookies.

Good answer, Mr. Adams.

I also recommend Spybot: Seek and Destroy. While it eliminates cookies, it checks for spyware that your browser doesn't detect, making it invaluable in protecting your comp.
