They both realise that the democrats are an enemy of the US. Who do you think al qaeda would rather have in the White House? The Breck Girl would be the "dream president" for the islamists. They wouldn't want Hillary because her supervisor is still living down his humiliation at not doing anything to get bin Laden and she might not be so easy on them as Edwards would. After all, the war on terror is a "bumper sticker". He's so busy primping he missed what's happened in England, Spain, Chechnya, and other places in the world since 9-11. He and Kerry are both ideal candidates from the terrorist point of view.

The G.O.P., or at least it's president, have done more to support al qaeda than Osama bin laden, all his deputies and all of Islam could ever do. They gave al qaeda the gift of the nation of Iraq. They needed a new home, and now they have it.
