They will generally not let you go over 2 weeks past due date. Any more than that and there is a chance that the placenta will no longer be able to support the baby and will start to break down.
Usually a doctor will start monitoring the baby if you go much more than a few days overdue. They would do a non-stress test to check fetal movement. Your doc might even want to schedule an induction soon but don't be induced if you want to wait - you do have a choice if you haven't gone that long over.
I had an appt on my due date with my first child and they scheduled an induction for a few days later. I ended up having her the next day! Good luck - not much longer now!

Seriously they have let you go this far. I have heard of a lot of women who have a past of c-sections are usually required to have another c-section and that is done before a women starts showing signs of labour. I guess that you are trying for natural birth this time? The longest I have heard generally allowed is two weeks passed the due date.

I was induced 3 days after she was due.

Have some sex tonight and eat some spicy, go for a walk. Try to bring on labor yourself because induction is not fun

Good luck, I wish you lots of health

Usually no more than two weeks because the placenta starts to age and die after that, and the baby can actually start to loose weight. Ask your doctor what their opinion on it is.

it actually depends. I have known people who choose to go to 43 weeks but most dr's try to talk you into induction at forty two weeks and a day for reasons that are medical and personal.

It depends on how much your baby weights and if its going to cause any problems if you saty pregnant too long.
My sister was going to be a January baby but she wasnt born until March.
