If you are asking this question, you must not have very much experience with website building, etc. You need more than a free or $10 a month domain name. You need the whole shebang and step-by-step instructions, too.

I know, because I was in the same boat. The more I tried to figure things out, the more confused I got. I ended up, thankfully, finding a company that provided all the techie know-how behind the scenes and helped me build a site that generates traffic and income.

I didn't start another "work from home" or "make money online" site. There are more than enough of those to go around. I think everyone but the very best are just spinning their wheels - like the blind leading the blind. :-)

Anyway, I started my company about something I enjoy (too much), chocolate candy. Take a look in my profile if you want to check it out.

You can do the same thing - build a .com company about something you have a real interest in or are knowledgeable about. There are some free ebooks in my profile if you want some good reading that helps you wrap your head around the concept. They were a big help to me getting started.

The company I used offered them for free and I was so helped by the books that I knew I wanted to use them to power my business. Very wise decision - I have a strong feeling I would still be spinning my wheels otherwise.

That's my opinion, anyway.

All the best.

Depends. What do you plan to have this company do?
