hello everybody! im looking for a companion for my 62 year old mother. she spends alot of time on her own as we have few neighbours and would love to have sombody local she could have a chin wag with and share craft ideas. she enjoys all aspects of card makeing and other crafts and would be very keen to exchange ideas. is anybody else in the same situation or knows somone who is? pls let me know if you would be interested or if you have any ideas that could help. thankyou :o)

I actually live in Ockendon. I'm not a weirdo! (as stated that I probably would be). My mum and I are into card craft too. There's a shop in Ockendon Village by Tesco's Extra that runs Saturday workshops where you can meet. If not, then get in touch with me, and I'll do my best to find some people for you. A lot of my friends are into card crafts.
And I am serious about this - not a online pyscho.

Soliciting personal contact is against the rules here, and for good reason. Contact your local seniors' group, or post a notice on your library bulletin board - or ask the local nursing home if mum can come visit someone there. You are going to invite all kinds of trouble by posting here, because normal people will not call you - only perps and weirdos.
