Enter your zip code, and you will get the Council and a list of units in your area. Call the Council and ask for contact information for the troops near you. Visit three, if you can, and watch a meeting or two before joining. Some troops have different focuses; some go camping a lot, some prefer to canoe, some work on badges. Find a group that is good for you and your family.

If you can find the number to "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" in your area, they always have a boy scout troop and can give you any info. you need on boy scouts, joining their troop, or info on joining other troops in the area. The church should be listed in your phone book. : )
