You also forgot to mention that pesky little prison-sentence problem he'll be facing. Kinda hard to play ball when you're in an 8X10, you know.

He'll be banned from the league if the NFLs investigation finds out he was gambling. Furthermore, an NFL owner would have to be super desperate for a QB to sign Vick. They'll also have to be willing to change their entire offensive philosophy since Vick is a mobile QB with limited accuracy, not a traditional pocket passer.

He'll be lucky to get a contract in the CFL when he's released.

first off, his fine will be a MAXIMUM of 250,000 dollars. He will definitely see some prison time. The case is too high profile for him not to. Even after he is released, and he serves his likely suspension, he will only be signed as a backup at first on a desperate team. If he goes nuts and becomes the qb that he still has yet to show he can be, then he may get another big contract, but I doubt it.

Definitely true that some owner will take a chance on him (gee, maybe Al Davis?), but that's assuming the NFL commish doesn't suspend him for life, which looks like a genuine possibility.

If he's allowed to play, he'll definitely find a job somewhere.

Speculation and $10 will get you a cup of coffee...who knows. But if he does play again, his performance will suffer because every stadium or dome he steps into will be rocking with boo's and jeers aimed in his direction. And we all know how Michael Vick handles boo's.

Good point. He'll probably get a contract and a second chance by a crappy team like the Raiders, Lions, or Browns! It's sad but probably true!

I would care to bet on this one. Due to the salary cap implications ATL will probably keep him on their roster this year and cut him in the offseason when tehy can recoup some of the signing bonus they paid him.

Who would touch him? No NFL owner or GM will want to associate their team with that guy! I don't see it happening. Besides I think the commissioner is going to give him a lifetime ban.

After he serves his sentence, he'll get a contract from the Raiders.

I just have a feeling the Raiders will do that kind of thing.

No way. He's going to jail. That's the statute. 12-18 months of jail time is what he'll get.

I'd take that bet because you have failed to mention what Goodell could do to him. Remember he lied to Goodell in a face-to-face meeting. Goodell doesn't strike me as the forgiving type.
