Yes it is. Not only is it beautiful but the ppl are friendly, the water is clean & the resorts are wonderful, xcellent service. It's breezy in the night. If u enjoy dancing the clubs are nice but they close early. Have fun & congrats!

Yes i would recommend Punta Cana. Have been there 3 times, planning on going next year again. We stayed at the Sunscape Resorts each time. The food is great can find something for everyone to eat ( have a picky eater) the sunsets are beautiful, people are friendly, the resorts are clean. You can do thing off the resort which will cost money to go do or you can sit by the pool or the ocean and enjoy the act ivies that the resort have. We have done atv, para sailing, snorkeling, speed boats. had a great time. CONGRATS on the marriage.

punta cana is an a awesome place. the beaches are white(also depends where Ur at) the water is perfect, food is the best down there(remember tho everything is fresh so u might fell a little ill b,c there is no pesticides on the food) most of the hotels are clean friendly, and there is a lot to do down there for activities.
but remember tho don't drink the tap water. only bottled, water in restraints and ice cubes is fine.
also to get the best service TIP. a buck here and there will get u at the top of the list for the employee(maid, bartender)

Punta Cana and Puerto Plata are excellent for Honeymooners, depending what you are looking for.

I think you could do some internet research and find those things out . I know that the dominican republic is beautifull and have known several ppl who have been there . good luck and congrats on the wedding .
